Keeping the Airwaves Alive
From the classic days of CB radio to today's amateur bands, Charlie Baker Radio Club is about radios, friendship, great conversations and keeping the spirit of radio alive.
Good Radio. Good Friends. Good Times.
Charlie Baker Radio Club brings together people who share a passion for radio communication. Whether you're operating a classic CB base station, working HF from the home shack, talking locally on VHF or UHF, experimenting with antennas or simply enjoying a good old-fashioned rag chew, radio is what brings us together. It's about the people behind the microphone, the friendships made over the airwaves and the memories collected along the way. Old hands, newcomers and radio enthusiasts are welcome.
Whether you're checking in for five minutes or staying around for a good yarn, we'd be pleased to hear you.

CB Radio: Where Many of Us Started
There's something special about turning on a CB radio, hearing a voice come through the speaker and picking up the microphone for a chat. We celebrate the classic CB era, memorable operators, home-base stations, mobile installations and antennas.

Amateur Radio: HF • VHF • UHF
From local contacts to stations hundreds or thousands of kilometres away, amateur radio combines communication, experimentation, technical knowledge and friendship.

The Home Base
From simple home-base setups to serious amateur stations, every shack has its own personality. Radios glowing, meters moving, microphones ready, antennas outside and hopefully a few good signals coming through the speaker.
Preserving Our History
The voices, nicknames, callsigns, friendships and stories are what made the radio community memorable. If you have an old Charlie Baker photograph, story or piece of memorabilia, we'd love to preserve it.
